The Sindh Human Rights Commission (SHRC) held the training session with local government officials in Mithi, Tharparkar, on May 17th, 2024, regarding the Sindh Hindu Marriage Act, 2018.
Presided by Mr. Sukhdev Assardas Hemnani, Board Member (SHRC) the Key participants included, Kamla Bai (V.C Tharparkar) , Musharaf Ali Shah (District Officer, District Council Tharparkar), Waqas Durrani (Deputy Superintendent of Police, City Mithi), and Asif Ali Khaskhaly (Additional Deputy Commissioner-I, Tharparkar), representative from National lobbying Delegation (NLD).
This series of trainings held in Mirpurkhas Division highlighted the collaborative efforts needed to enhance the implementation of the Sindh Hindu Marriage Act and protect the civil rights of the Hindu community in Sindh. The SHRC is dedicated to fostering awareness and supporting Government officials in this important work.
