Key stakeholders like Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson Sindh Human Rights Commission and Barrister Rida Tahir, Legal Advisor (SHRC) emphasized crucial legislative measures and advocacy efforts aimed at protecting women from various forms of violence and discrimination. Detho's push for Women and Children Police stations in every district and Rida's insights into implementing pro-women laws underscored the need for comprehensive action to address gender-based violence effectively.

The convention also showcased the Sindh Human Rights Commission's proactive engagement with law enforcement authorities, advocating for women's police stations and a Referral Mechanism for Free Legal Aid.
