Mr. Aslam Sheikh, Judicial Member II (SHRC) attended consultative meeting on “Draft Rules for Sindh Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Act 2018” & took part in the discussion.
It was suggested that council for person with disability consists of 62 members and its quorum is 1/3 hence number of members be reduced with number of quorum.
It was suggested that in every department/institution there should be ramp for easy access of the persons with disability. In every medical store it should be mandatory to keep devices of person with disabilities.
